Patrol Box: the operating system for a Scout unit
Patrol Box helps a troop committee recover funding it already earned, and it is building toward a single place for a unit's calendar, roster, advancement, and paperwork.
Where it started
Patrol Box is being built inside Troop 134 in Folsom, California, by its committee chair, rather than by a vendor guessing at what a unit needs. The problem it started with was simple: parents were logging volunteer hours that employers would match with cash, and almost none of that money was ever claimed.
What it does today
Patrol Box turns an adult volunteer's hours into a funding claim a troop can actually submit, and points to the other funding a troop is likely leaving on the table. Read the Funding Kit for how that works and to request a scan.
